Description: The Draft (2001) Ohio fish-distribution maps displayed in this series of web pages show red points where samples containing the chosen species were collected. The background shows perennial streams (blue) having stream orders of 4 or higher. The data were compiled from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission, and U.S. Geological Survey. These distribution maps will be used to analyze fish communities, conservation lands, and Ohio stream characteristics. The maps are review copies only and do not represent final Ohio fish distributions.

How to: Each draft  fish-species distribution map is shown in a separate pdf file. By clicking on a particular fish, the corresponding map can be opened in Adobe Acrobat. A map called “OHIO” shows the state boundaries, latitude and longitude, and major rivers
