2. Today, I’m
going to talk about filtration and movement of pathogens in the subsurface
and experiments that we’ve done with microbial surrogates rather than
pathogens
|

3. Some of these
surrogates are illustrated in the
photo here ( protists, bacteria,
microspheres and bacteriophage)
|
|
|
|
4. The socks over the pants are a not a
protection from the radiolabled viruses that we used, but from the
lyme-disease ticks that were prevalent in the Cape Cod area where we
performed our field tests.
