			03142000 WILLS CREEK AT CAMBRIDGE, OHIO

LOCATION.--Lat 40000'52", long 81035'14", Guernsey County, Hydrologic Unit 05040005, on left bank at upstream side of 
bridge on Campbell Avenue in Cambridge, 0.9 mi downstream from Leatherwood Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA.--406 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 1926 to September 1928, May 1937 to current year.
REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 853: 1929(M). WSP 893: 1928. WSP 973: 1942.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 772.34 ft above sea level. Prior to Oct. 6, 1927, nonrecording gage at 
site 1.5 mi downstream at different datum. Oct. 6, 1927, to Sept. 30, 1928, and May 22, 1937, to Oct. 18, 1938, 
nonrecording gage at present site and datum.
REMARKS.--Records good except for periods of estimated record, which are poor. Flow regulated by Senecaville Lake on 
Seneca Fork, 22 mi upstream, beginning in 1937. Water is diverted 2.7 mi upstream from station for municipal 
supply of city of Cambridge; diversion not included in figures of daily discharge. Water-quality data collected 
at this site.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Flood of Aug. 8, 1935, reached a stage of 25.4 ft.
