Methods for cyanobacterial toxins

Samples for the cyanobacterial toxins are analyzed by the OWML for MI-OH WSC projects only. Currently the OWML analyzes samples for one toxin—microcystin—by an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) provided in a kit (Abraxis LLC, Warminster, Penn.). The OWML SOP for ELISA is based on Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (2015) (Appendix F1). The sample processing benchsheet can be found in Appendix F1a.
